Product Environmental Protection - Rubber and plastic caps are often used to protect products that may react with the environment. The cap acts as a barer to keep out; oxygen, light, moisture and dust.
Paint or Curing Masking - High temperature rubber caps are often used to protect an area that must remain uncured such as in powder coating, e-coating and anodizing masking. Because the caps are often made to with-stand high temperatures, they are often reusable.
